Hey, if you had many offers from various auto manufacturers, the Canadian Direct Insurance and cheapest, but id never heard of him before-hand (for an additional hearing on the radio i) all dates you have in other places as partners and banks (RBC and TD ) I just ensure that they have a good company, because iv never heard before want to know.

Never bad, but I have never seen anything good about them. As seem determined to do it yourself, you might as well roll the dice. Your other option is to talk to an insurance, but it really requires interaction with a real person.
I am only licensed in Ontario, so I can not say that I carry to Canada (in Alberta and British Columbia tried).
Direct Canada has been in business since 1996. This is a call center for not talking to the same person twice. The same holds true for red blood cells and TD. In auto, you need a local agent, you can go to good service if you need to continue.
I represent any of the above companies. But I think that is how to deal with a local agent or broker better, a call center. Well worth any additional cost. Think about it ... who learns best?
